Abstract

[edit source]

365 climate edits is a campaign and a personal challenge for editing more often in climate related articles. It builds upon the concept of 100 wiki days of making something every day for an extended period. But while the time is longer, a full year, the bar is a bit lower by only requiring a single edit every day.

Description

[edit source]

How do you challenge yourself, and others, to edit more in the articles related to climate change, clearly a topic for impact (recommendation 8 in the movement strategy)? Last year I tried to write an article on the topic every week but failed massively. The topic is just too complex for me to be able to write decent articles at that pace. But I still wanted to build a habit, so I lowered the bar to just one single edit every day. So far, 14 users have started their journey of a full year of editing in the climate topics.

This lightning talk aims to inform about the campaign and inspire more people to join.
