Abstract & description
Abstract
2022 has been a very tough year for Wikipedia editors. 4 editors (2 from Saudi Arabia and 2 from Belarus) were arrested and sentenced to several different years in prison for editing Wikipedia. I designed a big group poster with slogan #Editing_Wikipedia_is_not_crime and we will ask the conference participants to sign on it to show them moral support.
Description
Osama Khalid and Ziyad Alsufyani imprisoned in December 2022, Mark Bernstein imprisoned in March 2022, Pavel Pernikaŭ imprisoned April 2022, The charge against them is editing Wikipedia and now they are paying for it, to show them some moral support and that we support human rights and support their cause I designed a group poster and the conference participants will sign on it.
