Abstract[edit source]

Poster Category: Wild Ideas Session Time: 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in Singapore

Wikidata has references to i.e. Swedish churchbooks …. by having this structure and combining it with DNA genealogy we could start using knowledge graphs and using Machine learning and faster find good candidates

Description[edit source]

Lightening Track: Today Wikidata has references to i.e. Swedish churchbooks we have what type of book it is, geographic area of the book, when, what page in the book…. by having this structure referencing church books and other genealogy sources and combining this with DNA genealogy we could start using knowledge graphs and Machine learning and faster find good candidates. This lightening talk I hope will start a discussion if this is a way forward and what the nexts step are…

Todays status is that DNA genealogy research is very structured but old school genealogy is a “chaos” that doesn’t has a good fit with new technologies like machine learning.
