Description
[edit source]Wiki Project Med has been involved with facilitating the translation of millions of words of text over the last decade. In 2021 we relaunched this work with the development of a new dashboard and brought on new partners, including the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and ProZ. These recent efforts have resulted in the creation of more than 1,000 new healthcare articles by 37 users who have worked in 19 different languages. This presentation will be an overview of the software and processes we have developed as well as details on how one can get involved as a translator or coordinator plus how the software could be adopted to other topic areas.
