2025:Program/Climate Policies in Wikidata

Session title: Climate Policies in Wikidata
- Session type: Poster
- Track: Open Data
- Language: en
This poster will take a global perspective on climate policies in Wikidata. It will display the geographical coverage and interconnectedness between them. Furthermore, it will have an analysis of common properties used and how they are being used on Wikidata.
Description
The poster is a continuation of the poster session
from last year. Whereas that one had a Swedish perspective and discussed the enrichment of the import of documents from the Swedish Parliament, this poster will take a global perspective to see how the complete coverage is. A new component will therefore be a geographical analysis and a wider look at how they relate to each other. As before, a visualization of the coverage and of the properties used to connect them will also be done. The aim of the poster is to reveal gaps in the data and inspire for more edits on Wikidata.
- How does your session relate to the event theme, Wikimania@20 – Inclusivity. Impact. Sustainability?
This session will show both the impact of how different initiatives have contributed to the richness of the data, hopefully inspiring others to mimic those initiatives.
