English Wikipedia engaged in a series of requests for comment in 2024 to improve the process. This session is a summary of those efforts and the changes it's bringing.

English Wikipedia's administrator selection process is sometimes considered unpleasant for candidates. Administrator promotion numbers are low. Can this be fixed? English Wikipedia engaged in a series of requests for comment in 2024 to improve the process. This session is a summary of those efforts and the changes it's bringing.
In particular, administrator recall and administrator elections are two major changes to the process that have passed, and may bring big changes to both the administrator selection process and the administrator removal process. These have the potential to change administrator dynamics on the English Wikipedia.
