Wikipedians met at the Çinili Hamam to edit Wikipedia articles about hammam culture, perhaps in the most unusual setting, with the scent of soap.
Description
Wikipedians in Istanbul had a very interesting experience in the Tiled Hammam, which was transformed into both a museum and a hammam after its restoration. Accompanied by the scent of soap, they took their laptops to the Zeyrek Çinili Hamam (Zeyrek Tiled Hammam) to edit Wikipedia articles about the hammam culture. Non-Wikipedians were also introduced to the Wikimedia movement and learned how to edit Wikipedia during the presentation in the hammam.

This event is suitable for Wikimania 2025's themes of inclusivity and impact. It will help people to remember what they have learned in a very interesting venue. Thus, it will create an impact. In addition, existing Wikipedians also took part in this environment and edited Wikipedia articles about hammam culture, which broadened the scope of the event.
