2025:Program/Meeting point for talking about how to support small communities
Session title: Meeting point for talking about how to support small communities
- Session type: Meet-up, exhibition space, social event
- Track: Wild Ideas
- Language: en
The last Wikimanias, the best part has been small talks outside the sessions. So, give me a table outside the conference rooms and three or four chairs and a place to hang posters behind me. I want to sit here and invite people to talk with me about they are building their Wikipedia communities, especially in global south , because I want to support Tetum Wikipedia in Timor-Leste. I will not sit all the time there, but always, when I am not in a session.
Description
Like I said above. I want to exchange experiences, meet people and learn.
- How does your session relate to the event theme, Wikimania@20 – Inclusivity. Impact. Sustainability?
I would like to summarise what I have learned and make it available as a text, especially for East Timor, of course, but also for other communities
- What is the experience level needed for the audience for your session?
Everyone can participate in this session
