This poster will show the impact of WikiProject Govdirectory. It will include statistics of the number of Wikidata users involved and how many edits are associated. We will also show some stories of how the quality of Wikidata has improved thanks to the WikiProject and even some of the impact beyond the wikis.

Description

This poster will show the impact of WikiProject Govdirectory, a WikiProject started in 2021. Over the years, it has seen a lot of activity, and in this poster we will share statistics of the number of Wikidata users involved in various ways. We will also make an effort of showing how many edits are associated with the WikiProject. Besides the statistics, we will also show some stories of how the quality of the items and the modeling on Wikidata has improved thanks to the WikiProject. There will also be some stories about some of the impact beyond the wikis by reusers and suppliers of the data. Finally, we will do a "meta" summary; of the impact of the WikiProject in the Wikidata and Wikimedia community.

I started editing in 2006. I have been an administrator on Swedish Wikipedia since 2008, with a pause when I was the executive director of Wikimedia Sverige. For the last five years, I have been running a weekly podcast about Wikipedia. I have also done over 100 live streams editing Wikidata. I am one of the founders of Wikimedians for Sustainable Development.
