The WikiWomen Lunch at Wikimania 2025 will celebrate the progress of women in the Wikimedia movement. WikiWomen’s Lunch has been traditionally conducted during every Wikimania since 2010, where women participants come together to share their experiences, strategize for a more equitable future, and strengthen feminist solidarity within the movement.

Description

In the spirit of feminist solidarity, the WikiWomen Lunch at Wikimania 2025 offers a dedicated space for women attendees to connect, reflect on progress made, and collaboratively plan for a more equitable future in the Wikimedia movement. This event aims for women attendees to socialize with each other, allowing for mentorship, collaboration, and ongoing dialogue. The participants will also share outcomes from previous initiatives and projects, discussing collective achievements and identifying areas of improvement. We will also reflect on the work done in 2024-25 and general directions for the future.
