Description
In past year Wikimedians of Kerala User Group conducted lot of activities related to various themes like GLAM, Biodiversity, Language diversity, Wikimedia Tech etc. In the poster we are trying to summarise and present various activities coordinated by Wikimedians of Kerala User Group
- How does your session relate to the event theme, Wikimania@20 – Inclusivity. Impact. Sustainability?
Inclusivity: Wikimedians of Kerala UG conducted a set of programs to include various langauge communties in Kerala. Efforts are being made to bridge the gender gap within Wikimedia projects through outreach programs.
Impact: The group organizes numerous workshops, edit-a-thons, and photography campaigns to expand and improve Wikimedia content, especially in Malayalam. Events like "Wiki Loves Folklore" and "Wiki Loves Onam" contribute to preserving and showcasing Kerala's cultural heritage.
Sustainability: The group are also involved in projects that promote awareness of environmental issues, such as those related to the Biodiersity in India.
