From Wikimania

Session title: Wikinside statistic tool – new tool for long-term monitoring of statistics

Session type: Lightning talk
Track: Lightning Talk Showcase
Language: en

Since 2023 WMCZ has been developing a tool that is used for long-term monitoring of statistics of editing and outreach activities – we would like to present it - as open software - in its current form.

Description

Thanks to the categorization of events, the tool allows us to monitor our outreach activities (of which there are around 400 per year) in the long term. Their participants and outputs over time and between themselves. This makes it easier for us to monitor the outputs and impacts of our activities over time. We are developing the tool to be flexible and usable, especially for the needs of affiliates.

How does your session relate to the event theme, Wikimania@20 – Inclusivity. Impact. Sustainability?

The tool allows for impact measurement, over time, i.e. sustainably, and is accessible to all, i.e. inclusive. In addition, it is able to key users into different categories.

What is the experience level needed for the audience for your session?

Everyone can participate in this session
