নাইরোবিতে পৌঁছানোর উপায়
- বিমান পথে: নাইরোবির প্রধান বিমানবন্দর হল জোমো কেনিয়াটা আন্তর্জাতিক বিমানবন্দর (এনবিও), যা বিশ্বের প্রধান শহরগুলোর সঙ্গে সংযুক্ত। দেশটির জাতীয় বিমান সংস্থা কেনিয়া এয়ারওয়েজ (কেকিউ) স্কাই টিম অ্যালায়েন্সের সদস্য এবং আফ্রিকাসহ বিভিন্ন গুরুত্বপূর্ণ গন্তব্যে ফ্লাইট পরিচালনা করে।
- সড়ক পথে: পূর্ব আফ্রিকার প্রতিবেশী দেশগুলি থেকে ভ্রমণ করলে, ইজি কোচ এবং তাহমেদ বাস পরিষেবা নাইরোবিকে কামপালা, দার এস সালাম এবং কিগালি শহরের সঙ্গে সংযুক্ত করে।
নাইরোবিতে পরিবহনব্যবস্থা
- Arriving from the airport for scholars and attendees: Airport shuttle buses will be provided for scholars and any other attendees who would like to make use of our airport shuttles. Info will come via email to registered in-person attendees in July for them to sign up to the airport shuttles. The shuttle buses will pick up and drop off at all the terminals at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
- Shuttle buses provided to official events: There will also be shuttle buses taking people on the tours listed and to/from the closing event.

Venue
The gathering will happen at multiple venues throughout Gigiri, a small and easily navigable neighborhood, to allow participants an opportunity to experience diverse offerings and the warmth of Kenyan hospitality. Wikimania will be hybrid, offering both in-person and virtual participation.
Each of the different in-person venues have their own individual capacities. Overall, in person this Wikimania will be similar in size to Wikimania Singapore because of venue restrictions. For the event we have had a total of 725 places to fill including scholars and other attendees. The final number of attendees may vary slightly depending on cancellations and last minute additions. Commitment from Wikimedia Foundation on LGBT+ related issues at Wikimania
The Wikimedia Foundation in its role supporting the community organizers of the annual Wikimania global conference affirms its December 2020 commitment of support for LGBT+ volunteers. Specifically, the staff supporting each year's Core Organizing Team will make available to them educational and planning resources to encourage efforts to support both in-person and virtual LGBT+ attendees. Additionally, when advisable according to the guidance of the Foundation’s human rights team, the Foundation will facilitate discussions between the Core Organizing Team and local government officials to address the safety of participants, and between the Core Organizing Team and the Wikimedia LGBT+ affiliate to address any other needs identified for LGBT+ participants.
We recognize that no host city can perfectly address all concerns, and will work with the Core Organizing Team and Wikimedia LGBT+ to identify and communicate potential risks which cannot be offset. Finally, the Foundation will also continue "being vigilant that incidents where individuals are targeted for identity factors are properly recognized and addressed in our Trust & Safety systems."
The Wikimedia Foundation invites community organizers and entities to join our commitment and document their commitments and ideas for supporting LGBT+ participants of Wikimania and other community organized events.
