Overview

The WikiWomen* Summit 2025 will return as a key event at Wikimania Nairobi on August 5, 2025, continuing its mission to address the gender gap within the Wikimedia movement. Building on the momentum of the 2023 and 2024 summits, as well as insights from WikiWomen Camp 2023, this yearโ€™s gathering will offer panels, workshops, a Women* Lunch, and open sessions on sharing achievements, sharing strategies and envisioning the fiture .

Co-designed in feminist solidarity, the summit aims to provide a safe, inclusive space for reflection, learning, and alliance-building among gender equity advocates.
