The program has been made with many factors in mind, including room size, language needs, topic area and more. We encourage speakers to stick with their assigned slot in the program. However, if you are a speaker that needs to change the date or time of your session, you may comment in this section. Please include the title, duration, date and time of your assignment, and what you are hoping to switch to. Speakers can identify others to change with. Ping in an organizer once a change is agreed. Organizers will also be looking here in the case of cancellations to see if we can accommodate any requested changes.

Some things we can't change :

• Moving a lightning talk outside of a Lightning talk showcase or a Lightning talk series
• All Research sessions are within the Research tracks (all in the afternoons)

Saturday 07/25/2026 16:20 - 16:30 talk in the Research Track

Hi, I need to swap my talk on Saturday in the Research Track (I'll be in the train already at that time) Kritk (talk) 20:54, 17 June 2026 (UTC)

Hi @Kritk: What is the latest time you will be still available on Saturday? We want to try and fit you in the first half before the break, but moving to a different day will be difficult (your session has a very strong focus on Fiabilité which is the topic for Saturday). If leaving early is a hard constraint that you cannot change, you should have mentioned this in the Special requirements field: we did manage to accommodate an early departure of another participant, but at this point moving your session to another day will be very difficult — NickK (talk) 10:56, 22 June 2026 (UTC)

@Kritk: Thanks for the details, this is a hard constraint indeed. We are now looking into moving you to Thursday or Friday afternoon (Saturday morning is unfortunately not possible), next to the session you mentioned is one of the options. Saturday 07/25/2026 4PM (Becoming a CHATON) swap

We have our « Becoming a CHATON » talk in the Ouest Room at 4PM on saturday 07/25/2026. This slot is not working well with one of our speaker, so we would love to have one on Thursday 23 or Friday 24. At the very least, even getting a slot on Saturday morning would be better for us. Thursday 23rd Lightning talk showcase rehearsal clash

Checking the Wikimania schedule and I've realised the Biodiversity lunchtime meet up I'm organising (1.30 - 2.30pm on Thursday the 23rd) is clashing with the Lightning Talk Showcase I Rehearsal (1pm to 2.30pm) which I'm supposed to attend as I'm presenting at the Lightning talk Showcase I at 4pm that day. I don't know whether it is vital to attend the rehearsal (I'll be practicing and timing my presentation before I even turn up to Wikimania) but I just thought I should let the program organisers know. 07/24/2026 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM Lunch meetup - Asia Meetup

Since the ESEAP Meetup, the South Asian Meetup, and the Asia Meetup are all scheduled for the same time slot (07/24/2026 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM), we're concerned that many participants may want to attend more than one of these meetups.
