Traduction

Pamputt (talk) 17:44, 11 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

Extended rights question

The question I see is "Are you a user with extended rights (administrator, bureaucrat, steward, etc.) on one or more projects?" which is a checkbox (yes, no or don't know), with no place to explain or provide links as is stated in 2026:Scholarships. Where can I put the links/explain my answer? Leaderboard (talk) 16:11, 9 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

@Trizek can you look at this? Leaderboard (talk) 08:51, 21 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
@Leaderboard, I pinged the scholarship team. Trizek from fr: 12:36, 21 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
@Trizek Can you ping them again? Leaderboard (talk) 05:06, 26 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
The committee will do the thorough checking manually from the username provided regarding the extended rights. If he wants to explain, he can put the answers in the question of Tell us about your involvement in the last 18 months. IvomarDos (talk) 08:25, 27 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

Means for traveling covered by the scholarship

"Scholarships cover flights, accommodation, registration.." Will a WMF scholarship only cover air-travel, or (especially since Europe has a great and extensive train network) is it also possible to cover travel by ground transportation? Ciell (talk) 13:59, 19 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

Yes, it also covers train travel. IvomarDos (talk) 13:27, 21 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

"Orientation sessions" translating markup

Hi all. Translating markup in the "Orientation sessions" section currently is incorrect. I fixed it, but @Exec8 was reverting my edit.

There's no need to leave file names and gallery HTML markup for translators. I propose returning to my version. All existing translations will be easily update to the new structure. Kaganer (talk) 18:49, 22 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

Question about scholarship application

Dear Members of the Scholarship Committee,

I am writing with a brief follow-up regarding my Wikimania 2026 scholarship application. I sent an email on November 2nd asking for confirmation that my application was received, but I may have missed the reply. According to the confirmation message displayed after submitting the form, my application was successfully submitted on November 1st at 11:56 PM (CET), at a time when the application form was still accessible.

I would be very grateful if you could kindly confirm whether my application is on record and will be considered during the review process. Thank you very much for your time and understanding.

Kind regards,
