Presentation template
Are you planning to host a talk, a presentation, or a discussion during Wikimania and need a branded slide template? We have prepared one for you! Use our Wikimania 2026 presentation template in Google Slide format by making a copy (Click File ► Make a copy ► Entire presentation). Customize it to best fit your needs.
Warning: the slide template is currently available on an external website owned by Google LLC, United States. You must agree the Google Drive Terms of Services, and your web browser will execute proprietary JavaScript software. More about the Google Suite in Wikimedia.
Tips about slides
Your slides should support what you say, helping attendees following your point, not be the center of attention. Ask yourself, is each slide necessary?
Keep simplicity in mind:
- Have one idea per slide and use as few words as possible on each slide
- The smaller the font, the less legible the slide is.
- Use simple resonating graphics and use a large enough font to be legible
- Be consistent in style colour and language and proofread for errors
- Avoid GIFs, fancy transitions or sound effects as they are disturbing
- Use sufficient color contrast to help those with visual impairments
- Absolutely avoid pale colors over a pale background
- Prefer strong contrasts: the rendering of your slides may be paler when presented.

End with a summary slide and one that shows your audience how to contact you or further engage e.g a qr code to the work or your email address.
