English: For many newcomers, editing a wiki online is their first experience with the Wikimedia movement. But we know from years of research that a newcomer's first attempts at participating online can be confusing and challenging, especially to those working on a mobile device. In this session we'll hear how communities can move our technology forward on their own wikis by building tools and testing changes scientifically. This session will include content and presenters from these two submissions, along with discussion and Q&A:
