Nitesh Gill

I am Nitesh and my username is Nitesh Gill. I am pursuing my PhD in Punjabi Literature from the University of Delhi, Delhi. I am the Punjabi language freelance and book translator. I am working with the Punjabi Wikimedians User Group since 2015. I have been working with the Center for Internet & Society - Access to knowledge (CIS-A2K) since 2019. One of my Wikimedian friends, Gaurav Jhammat, we have initiated the idea and conducted it for the Punjabi community for the very first time and for next year with three more communities. The event went well and we have planned it for more years and proposed it properly with other communities. During doing this, we realised Indian communities also need to work on-Wiki policies.
