Heidi Meudt (Stitchbird2)

Heidi Meudt is a Botany Curator at the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa, specializing in the naming, classification and relationships of southern hemisphere flowering plants. She has a PhD in Botany (2004) and has published over 45 scientific articles. Her current taxonomic research focuses on native New Zealand forget-me-nots (Myosotis). She is enthusiastic and proactive about getting biodiversity knowledge, publications, images, researchers and museum specimens into the Wikimedia ecosystem.
