Jan-David Franke

Jan-David Franke is Project Manager for Public Policy & Public Sector at Wikimedia Deutschland. In that capacity he is the liaison with community project Wiki Loves Broadcast and works at the forefront of convincing public broadcasters and politicians of the value of Creative Commons licensing. His passion for a democratic internet and free knowledge fuel his work. Previously, he worked at Berlin-based digital think tank Stiftung Neue Verantwortung and built the surveillance blog aboutintel.eu.
