This template maps time zones to the UTC offset of their standard time (non-DST), from tz database. The output is formatted in "+HH:mm" or "−HH:mm", in plain text.

Usage

{{Time zone/utc offset}} has one required positional parameter for timezone name from tz database. For example:

• {{Time zone/utc offset|America/New_York}} → −05:00
• {{Time zone/utc offset|Europe/Berlin}} → +01:00
• {{Time zone/utc offset|Australia/Sydney}} → +10:00

For invalid timezone names:

• {{Time zone/utc offset}} → Time zone (null) is not in {{Tz/utc offset}}.
• {{Time zone/utc offset|}} → Time zone is not in {{Tz/utc offset}}.
• {{Time zone/utc offset|No such TZ name}} → Time zone No such TZ name is not in {{Tz/utc offset}}.
