This year Wikimania will be a hybrid event with the in person portion taking place in Singapore from dd-mmm to dd-mmm a key part of being hybrid is that of watch parties, and other satellite events taking place across the global. With the 2022 Wikimania there were 66 similar events we wish to continue bringing people together. Everyone will be able to join the activities in Singapore via an online service, there will also focus will be on creating a party on the closing night starting with the Wikipedian of Years announcements this would be the ideal time for Satellite events.

Satellite grants
Funding to Affiliates and other movement community groups to host a satellite event during Wikimania and, or linkup with the activities happening in Singapore can be obtained through The WMF grants process. The Wikimania COT will support application for pre-approved events, and support opportunities to link up with Wikimania live activities

- Catering
- Data, hardware, & camera if not included in the venue facilities
- Translation service
- Administration costs
