Translation

It appears that you are not a speaker of any of the languages you're trying to translate. Why are you doing that? Note that use of an automated translation tool is often not a valid substitute, especially when dealing with uncommon languages.

@Oesjaar:, can you check the Afrikaans translations made by this user? You asked the user about this on their af.wikipedia userpage (wikipedia:af:Gebruikerbespreking:Orbitminis), but I don't see anything beyond that. Leaderboard (talk) 12:18, 16 June 2025 (UTC)Reply

Really? Then i'm banned right now? Orbitminis (talk) 12:36, 16 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
Because i had enough of Wikipedia. I want to be normal person than any else. When you ban me, i'm free. Orbitminis (talk) 12:44, 16 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
So bye. Orbitminis (talk) 13:00, 16 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
I did not say that you were banned. Translations in general require a very good command of the language in question - at least to CEFR B2 level - and machine translations can cause issues in unexpected ways. Given that users can themselves use a machine translator if necessary, it's generally frowned upon to solely use a machine translator to translate pages on Wikimedia. Machine translation has caused very serious issues in the past (see the Scots Wikipedia scandal for an example), so it's not something I can allow unless you actually know the language.
Given that your native language is Polish, I would focus on translating to that instead. Leaderboard (talk) 07:39, 18 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
We have checked all his translations and fixed where necessary. It was always clear that he used a translator. Regards. Oesjaar (talk) 15:14, 16 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
Thanks, Oesjaar. But i just quit Wikipedia for some reason. Orbitminis (talk) 17:24, 16 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
