Mourning Corner at Wikimania 2019

For Wikimania 2019, a so-called Mourning Corner was organized to mourn and remember deceased members of the Wikimedia communities. It was part of the Community Village, hosted and organized by Cornelius Kibelka.

Location[edit | edit source]

Location on the Wikimania map

The Mourning Corner was located outside, between the Aula Magna building and the Allhuset building. For the Mourning Corner we have used an existing bench, and placed 19 frames close to it. Behind the bench a tree was decorated with 19 white origami cranes.
