2019:Partnerships/Partnerships peer consultation

From Wikimania

Session description

[edit | edit source]

This session will provide an opportunity to discuss active or planned partnerships with peers from the Wikimedia movement and from the larger knowledge ecosystem. Subject matter experts on GLAM partnerships, data partnerships, education partnerships and collective impact will be present to consult participants. Participants or teams (wikimedians and interested partners) should come with specific cases which could include

  • ideas for a partnership initiative - looking for partners
  • Ideas for a partnership - identifying concrete next steps or seeking promising practices
  • a partnership with a problem
  • a partnership initiative at a crossroads- scaling, exit, downsizing, expansion

During the session, the cases will be presented, and peer consultants will be matched with each case. Peer consultants on duty include and are not limited to: Alek Tarkowski, Nikki Zeuner, Jens Ohlig, Jack Rabah and Jorge Vargas.

Consultations will be documented, so that 'clients' leave the session with concrete to-dos and access to new ideas and resources.

We are looking forward to fruitful peer-to-peer capacity building around partnerships!
