Helsinki Rephoto Walk[edit | edit source]

Tuesday August 20, 2019 at 11-16.00

Let us meet at the Alexander II statue in Senate square at 11.00.

We will walk through:

Helsinki Cathedral
National Library of Finland
Helsinki University Library – Kaisa Library (top floor's viewing platform)
Helsinki Railway Square
Railway Station

to the new Oodi Library (Helsinki Central Library Oodi).

Idea is to make a guided walk through Helsinki historical Center and to take the photographs. If you have Android phone, you can use 'Ajapaik for taking rephotos (we can share wifi if you don't have net access from the phone).

Between 14-16.00 We will gather in the new Oodi library. You have a chance to buy lunch or coffee at Oodi.

We have reserved Group room 2, II floor in Helsinki Central Library Oodi, Töölönlahdenkatu 4, where we can show and discuss the results.

If you don't have a phone or net access it is ok. We will be walking so you might want to leave your luggage into your hotel or Helsinki Railway Station. Helsinki luggage storage network here. In case of rain have umbrella or raincoat.

Helsinki Rephoto Walk is related to but not a part of the Wikimania 2019 Conference in Stockholm Sweden. It is organised by Wikimedia Suomi, the Wikimedia national chapter in Finland.
