Typo in the announcement on English Wikipedia[edit source]
Greetings and felicitations. The announcement banner on English Wikipedia reads in part:
Wikimania 2019 - Registration | Join us in Stockholm from 14 - 18 August 2019!
Per a standard rule of English grammar and punctuation, the second hyphen should be "to", as expressed in the Wikipedia Manual of Style. It would also be good to change the first hyphen to a proper em dash (or spaced en dash). Thus:
Wikimania 2019—Registration | Join us in Stockholm from 14 to 18 August 2019!
or alternately
Wikimania 2019—Registration | Join us in Stockholm 14–18 August 2019!
