Abstract[edit | edit source]

Generic postcard for WikiAfrica Hour

WikiAfrica Hour is a monthly vodcast to support the activities of the WikiAfrica movement and wikimedians.

WikiAfrica Hour intends to:

  1. Share current updates, and highlights of Africa Wikimedians activities
  2. Interact with guest(s) (if any), and take questions from community members
  3. Promote synergy within the Wiki community by discussing topics, projects, constraints, collaborations, and opportunities.

WikiAfrica Hour is activated by Wiki In Africa in support of Wikimedia usergroups across the WikiAfrica movement. It has been initiated and facilitated by Wiki In Africa's Ceslause Ogbonnaya (User:Ceslause), Florence Devouard (User:Anthere) and Isla Haddow-Flood (User:Islahaddow).

You can catch up on the past episode and also subscribe to our YouTube channel here

We aim to use this Wikimania session opportunity to give the experience and reason why Wiki In Africa launched the WikiAfrica Hour.
