[edit | edit source]Abstract
[edit | edit source]Have you ever faced the problem of a new active editor falling inactive after some time? If so, the topic of this talk might interest you.
This talk is about a Wikimedia community magazine, "WikiBarta". Wikipedians of all sorts have stories about their journey of Wikipedia, the highs and the lows. Often these stories are very interesting and can be a great source of motivation for others. But these stories seldom got documented and get lost over time. Wikimedian of the Bengali language community started a community magazine to make a platform where these stories can get documented. It also serves the purpose of delivering our movement-related news, essays, insights, and many more thing to the Bengali community in Bengali language.
This session tells the interesting story of the journey of the "WikiBarta", an online community magazine for Wikipedians/ Wikimedians.
