I will give my understanding of the IP masking project and answer your questions from my (outside) perspective as a privacy attorney specialised in online tracking.

- I'm interested. I understand the possible need for IP Masking, but I'm more interested in discussing existing features of MediaWiki extensions that could be put to good use in order to avoid (or reduce) the additional work load that would be imposed on the volunteers after the rollout of IP Masking.
- Ich interessiere mich.
