Images can influence attitudes, and form perceptions. And when it comes to mental health, visual representations can have a huge impact on how people with mental health issues are perceived. That’s why Suicide Prevention India Foundation (SPIF), in partnership with Wikimedia Foundation, recently launched art4good, an initiative that invites professional artists, photographers, students, and amateurs to create the world’s largest repository of mental health-related imagery. Selected images will then be made available as an online resource that can be downloaded for free.
