Abstract[edit source]

The Wikimedia Language Diversity Hub is an initiative to create a hub for everyone within the Wikimedia movement who is working on small and underrepresented languages. This summer we have conducted interviews with several small-language communities from across the globe to map what challenges are shared between communities that may not be on the radar for larger language communities, in order to help address these challenges.

Learning Outcomes[edit source]

The audience will learn what the Wikimedia Language Diversity Hub initiative is all about, and how they and their community/affiliate can get involved. They will also get some preliminary results from the community interviews that have been conducted this summer (final results to be published in October).
