She has been a member of the Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees since 2016, chairing it since 2021. She was a part of the Wiki Loves Earth international team, and organised Wikimedia CEE Meetings in 2014 and 2018 in Ukraine. Since 2013 she has been a member of Wiki Loves Monuments Ukraine organising team. From 2012 to 2016 served as a Board member of Wikimedia Ukraine, and as its volunteer Executive Director (2013-2015). The Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region is a diverse and dynamic area of the Wikimedia movement, with many challenges and opportunities for collaboration and innovation. The CEE Stakeholders Meeting is a session that aims to bring together representatives from different Wikimedia affiliates, projects, and communities in the region, as well as other interested parties, to discuss the current state and future vision of the CEE. The session will provide a space for sharing experiences, best practices, challenges, and ideas, as well as fostering dialogue and networking among the participants.
The expected outcomes of the session are:
▫ To increase the awareness and understanding of the CEE landscape among the participants. ▫ To identify the common challenges and opportunities for the CEE. ▫ To generate some concrete ideas and solutions for addressing the identified challenges and opportunities. ▫ To foster a sense of community and collaboration among the CEE stakeholders. ▫ To create a network of contacts and resources for future cooperation.
