One of the initiatives the Bali community has taken to preserve traditional manuscripts is WikiLontar. These manuscripts can be viewed at Balinese Wikisource. The process of preserving the manuscripts in Bali was not without difficulties and what should be done next?

I would like to talk about the WikiLontar initiative and how the community works to preserve traditional manuscripts during this session. In addition, I want to talk about how crucial Balinese Wikisource is to the next generation of Bali as a digital laboratory.

This session is going to be about diversity and potential collaboration. One of the significant legacies that has not been given primary priority to preservation are traditional manuscripts. This great task is a collaborative effort that must be completed for future generations; it cannot be done alone. Many parties must collaborate and work together.
