[edit source]A session about the five year journey of Wiki Loves Folklore International photography campaign - past, present and future!
Description
[edit source]Wiki Loves Folklore international campaign on Wikimedia Commons to document the intangible heriatge including oral traditions, cultural practices, festivals, cuisine, and much more. In the last five years, we have been able to get 42,442 images from 4,484 photographers from over 158 countries. This session will explore our journey of last five years and share the qualitative and quantitative impact it had on Wikimedia Commons, documentation of intangible heritage and editor demographics.

[edit source]Qn. How does your session relate to the event themes: Diversity, Collaboration Future?
The session would be interactive - inviting folks to do Q&A and meet the international dream team of Wiki Loves Folklore. Our Country organizers from 31 countries would be also welcome to be at our session for the Q&A by the audience bringing together a diverse experience from 31 countries and communities, their challenges, their success stories and interesting fun facts and some behind the scenes scenarios that have never been documented online. :)
Qn. What is the experience level needed for the audience for your session?
Everyone can participate in this session
Qn. What is the most appropriate format for this session?
