Further details[edit source]

Qn. How does your session relate to the event themes: Diversity, Collaboration Future?

The Wikimedia Endowment’s purpose is to protect Wikimedia projects for the long-term future. Its fundraising, governance, investment, and grantmaking strategies are all future-focused.

The Wikimedia Foundation’s Board of Trustees set priorities and make decisions that impact the diversity of our movement, the way communities collaborate, and the future we see for ourselves. The Board of Trustees guides this decision making and are therefore critical to the way that communities are supported across the globe. This session will help bring us all together around the themes of Diversity. Collaboration. Future, and inform the way the trustees shape the Foundation’s agenda over the course of their terms.
