Abstract & description
[edit source]Abstract
[edit source]For over 20 years the community has been gathering, creating, sorting and created, sorted and nurtured thousands of ideas all focused on knowledge gathering in 2017 the community saw the need to review its future strategy around 2030.
Description
[edit source]The fact is that : We have accumulated so much knowledge that we have a hard time using it. The available knowledge is free to use. This means that everyone can use it in the community and also beyond the community,
When we want information on a city like Paris for example, we don’t have time to read the whole article, which is dozens of pages long. We just need to know where the Eifel tower is, how far it is from London, or just how big it is, not more; Only that, etc. The idea is to imagine software or hardware tools to spread this knowledge to everyone quickly and with the right measure
The computer that made Wikipedia a success has been supplanted by small devices, especially smartphones, search engines have been dethroned by social media, and knowledge circulates, but not through Wikipedia, except that it often comes from Wikipedia. We need to imagine software or hardware tools to disseminate this knowledge to everyone according to the need and with the right proportions. I want through this presentation to explode imaginations and launch futuristic avangardist ideas. But first I need to tell you the whole story
