- Showcase and demonstrate Wikimedia tools - Spell4Wiki, QuickWiktionary, Wiki-Bulky, SpotWikiEdit. - Also share our technical and community-level experiences with other Wiki medians.

Description

- Showcasing the various Wikimedia tools, what we developed. Like Spell4Wiki, QuickWiktionary, Wiki-Bulky, SpotWikiEdit - All the above Wikimedia tools are needful and helpful for Wikimedians to easily contribute. So, that we are happy to share knowledge with other Wikimedia communities in this Wikimania 2023. - Also, we're willing to share our technical experiences - We're wiling to analyze and getting simple tool requirements from other Wikimedia communities. Which is aim to develop those needful tools for the Wikimedia to improve the contributions.

1. Spell4Wiki - Spell For Wiktionary (Wikimedia Commons). It is a mobile application to record and upload audio for Wikimedia Commons and also act as a Multilingual dictionary based on Wiktionary. 2. SpotWikiEdit - User can edit the wiki content directly by selecting. User can select the word need to edit. It will prompt for replacing string. Once replacing string given, it will get edited on the page. 3. QuickWiktionary - Getting word meaning from Wiktionary & Wikipedia, while selecting the word in browser for any website. 4. Bulky-Wiki - Bulk download of media files from Wikimedia Commons category & Bulk upload of words with meaning to Wiktionary.

- Following tools, we have planned to cover with demo - Spell4Wiki, QuickWiktionary, SpotWikiEdit, Wiki-Bulky. - Our session demonstrates helps, how to improve the contribution of Wikimedia projects and a focus on the future can lead to positive change in the FOSS community and Wikimedia Technical aspect. - We would like to share with others Wiki medians, how we are doing technology & Wikimedia based collaboration in our VGLUG community. Also, share how we do involve new contributors to the WIkimedia world. - In the Future, plan to improve and engage more technical contributors to Wikimedia projects and contributions. This Wikimania 2023 event, more helpful to get collaborate ideas.
