[edit source]Different cultures have different ideologies and perspectives about the world. The difference in the structure of a language, with its syntax and specific logical rules affect how a person looks at the world.
Description
[edit source]The Igbo tribe is the second largest ethnic group in Nigeria primarily found in the southeastern part of Nigeria,the Igbo people and their cultures have different ideologies and perspectives about the world. In the Igbo Settings, Culture Influences one's use of certain language. Certain restrictions are placed on genders (like the masquerades,trees,dances,meats,etc). Also the cultural Igbo attire and their represention and how attire indicates actions, title, Marital status and ceremony.
This session will give Vivid understanding on language and cultural diversity.It will explain how language influences the personal identity of those living within the culture. It will explain how language and culture Influences each other and their impact on the behavior of people within the Language Community.
