Celebrating Wikimania yearly as given us inclusion and cultural diversity. This year theme having focused on Diversity, Collaboration and Future, these initiatives will give us a ceremonious avenue to celebrate the harmonious relationship with our tradition, culture, Africa folktales and reviving history. It is essential for us to preserve our cultural heritage; it will help us to grow as community and also strengthen our historical engagement. Osun Groove is a sacred place where several monuments, statues and artifacts are mounted, it has different varieties of plants and trees that can be used for research purposes. It is located in the South- West region, Osun State, Nigeria. Many of these artifacts are being worship and celebrated and there are needs to document them through audio-visual and images in order to preserve its history. One of the most celebrated deity in the Osun Groove is the Osun river which is celebrated annually till date, it is said that there is a river goddess in the river that comes out yearly, she comes out to purify the lands and people comes to visit her from all over the world to receive blessings from her. The celebration is also known as Osun Osogbo festival. This celebration serves as a ritual to appease the goddess of the river and also bring luck to the attendant of the occasion, and Yorubaland.

The Osun Osogbo festival aims to bring people of shared-value together world-wide to celebrate unity, togetherness of the people and the river goddess as a living heritage.
