Abstract & description[edit source]
An open discussion about the future of Wikimania.
Wikimania is the annual Wikimedia world gathering. It is the event where the communities meet, discuss, learn and plan new initiatives.
We propose a space to present the current planned events and to discuss the future of Wikimania, new locations and formats. Members of the Wikimania steering committee will give an overview of how Wikimania is planned and answer questions, and lead a discussion on future planning. Audience members will learn more about Wikimania and have a chance to give feedback and ideas about future events.
