The program is designed to promote diversity in several ways. First, it encourages girls from different backgrounds and cultures to participate and share their unique perspectives and knowledge. Second, it promotes the creation and editing of articles on topics that are relevant to girls, including women's history, literature, science, and technology. This helps to ensure that a diverse range of topics and perspectives are represented on Wikipedia.

Collaboration is also a key component of the Wikipedia Education Program. Participants work in groups and collaborate with their peers to create and edit articles. This not only encourages teamwork and communication but also fosters a sense of community and belonging among the participants. In addition, the program facilitates collaboration between students and teachers, as well as with the wider Wikipedia community.

The program has the potential to impact the future in several ways. By promoting diversity and collaboration, it can help to create a more inclusive and equitable society. By teaching girls how to research and create high-quality content, it can also help to improve their critical thinking and communication skills. Finally, by promoting the use of open educational resources, the program can help to increase access to knowledge and education for girls who may not have had access to these resources previously.
