Abstract & description
[edit source]Abstract
[edit source]We will share our experience of using the Wikipedia as a "golden pen" for freedom of speech, as well as an important source and repository of information that is available anywhere in the world. Access to information is very important in authoritarian and totalitarian societies, where information is presented in a one-sided way, and many facts are hidden and hushed up.
Description
[edit source]Wikimedia is a global movement of people from over the world who bring free content in various languages, including but not limited to encyclopedia articles, photos, and videos. The essence of Wikipedia and its policies is aimed at disseminating diverse information on any subject, reflecting all points of view.
