A roundtable focused on a radical evolution (and social expansion) of the Wikimedia movement in response to global trends.

Description

A discussion among panelists and a group conversation to develop a collaborative vision for a sustainable people-centered internet, building on the best of what the Wikimedia movement has to offer.

The Wiki Way leading an alternative to the Silicon Valley empires, and a rededication to our non-profit platforms for the broad literacy of free knowledge, even as commercial trends suggest a future where everything is filtered through algorithmic ad-supported data-tracked snippets.

Three Pieces of the Puzzle:

Digital self-determination (wiki-connected social suite) Genre explosion (wikis for every topic - Wikispore, AI and video the wiki way, enabling personal expression) *Community organizing (wiki contributors and users coming together for a real social movement)
