Later re-entry[edit source]

I'm considering joining this tour. I'm Argentinean, so I should have 90-day visa-free entry. However, I'm planning to return to Malaysia later this year. I still don't know whether that would be within or after 90 days from the tour. Would re entering Malaysia be a problem? Or they would simply grant me a new 90-day visa-free entry the second time I visit? Thank you! Diegodlh (talk) 09:29, 2 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Re-entry would be no problem at all. They will just stamp your passport with another 90-day stay. Just make sure you are ready with your return flight ticket and hotel booking, in case they ask (for your next future trip after this Wikimania). Dody Ismoyo (talk) 07:40, 10 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Date[edit source]

Date says to be Sunday August 20th at the top, but down below in the sign-up section it says to be Tuesday August 22nd. I assume the second date is wrong, but wanted to double check before correcting that. Thanks! Diegodlh (talk) 09:33, 2 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

I noticed this too, would be great to know! Eric Luth (WMSE) (talk) 10:39, 6 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi hi there, yes, sorry for the confusion. The photowalk will be on Sunday, 20 August 2023. Hope that clear things up. Dody Ismoyo (talk) 07:41, 10 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Shuttle tickets[edit source]

Hey, @Dody Ismoyo! I assume you are helping with the organization of this. I understand that to go from Singapore to Johor Bahru the easiest way is to take the Shuttle Tebrau. However, I checked their page and although there are still plenty of tickets available from Singapore to Johor Bahru at 13:45 on Sunday August 20th, all return tickets show as sold out for later that day. Do we have any alternatives? Diegodlh (talk) 11:19, 9 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi, Shuttle Tebrau is using railway train to enter Malaysia. There are so many other options to use. The mostly used one is the public bus which goes basically every 5 to 20 minutes, can be taken from several MRT station. Please see the English Wikivoyage on 'Johor Bahru' on how to get into Johor Bahru from Singapore at Johor Bahru Wikivoyage. Dody Ismoyo (talk) 07:44, 10 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
Thank you, @Dody Ismoyo! Sorry, I thought that was the only possible way. My bad! Thanks for clarifying that :). Looking forward to see you! Diegodlh (talk) 07:39, 15 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
Yeah no problem. You can even use a taxi to cross into Johor Bahru, but that to be a special licensed taxi. I think you can order that in advance (e.g. at least 1 day before your departure date) at your hotel counter for them to arrange it for you. Dody Ismoyo (talk) 02:32, 17 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
