    Title: Creating a Lexeme Database from Scratch

    Abstract: Wikidata lexemes have given us the opportunity to store human language in a structured way. But languages are complex! And so is the resulting structured data. This session will introduce you to the challenges a lexeme editor might face on their journey.

    This session will be based on user's experience in trying to systematise lexemes on Wikidata. The aim is to inspire participants to work on the lexemes of a language of their choice, while giving them an insight into the challenges along the way.

    A beginner-friendly introduction to lexemes will be given in the first half of the session.
