English: During the 20 years Wikipedia and related projects have been growing around the world, accessibility of our user interfaces have not always been given an attention ranked among first priorities in order to match needs of people diversity.
A few months ago, as part of the online mediawiki Hackathon, a new user group formed specifically bringing accessibility experts and interested others into conversations about what accessibility problems need to be considered and addressed in some manner, and how to make those changes happen.
The group already yielded identification of scopes and priority axes for actions among which include the registration process, Wikispeech, sign languages, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, alternative text to images and providing alternative uncluttered text version of articles. This session will focus more on the last one with its specific stakes and aims.
