The SGpedians' notice board was created in 2005 (merged into WikiProject Singapore in 2020). There was a period of time when editing Wikipedia was pushed to the forefront with students participating (before 2010), and also several attempts to have a local affiliate setup. Since then, Singapore related articles languished while the MOS, GNG standards evolved.
