Template talk:Wikimania 2024 header
Add topicArabic text appearing as serif despite marked as sans-serif
[edit source]I just translated the template to ms-arab, but the problem is that it seems to be displayed as serif rather than sans-serif. I'm not sure why it does this, because the font family has been set to use sans-serif if Montserrat and Helvetica is not found. In the main page, the text appears normally as sans-serif, despite using a similar code. Is it possible for someone to look into why this issue persists? Thanks. - Hi @EmpAhmadK and sorry for the late reply. I've just fixed the font family specification in the template and it now uses the same font for the links as for the body content text. Msz2001 (talk) 11:11, 11 December 2023 (UTC)

I just used 2023:Attendees to created 2024:Attendees, the page needs content review, translation admin to set the page for translation, and possible inclusion in {{Wikimania 2024 header}} as | subtab5-3 = [[Special:MyLanguage/2024:Attendees| Attendees ]]. Suggest adding "Attendees" under "Attendance"

- Hi, @Novem Linguae! This is by design :) Given that registration is not open yet, every person on that list is, strictly speaking, not an attendee (not yet). And I think that exposing the list too broadly could be confusing for at least some people who could think that the registration is or was open. That's why we're kind of hiding the list for now.
- But don't worry, we are planning to expose the page more when the registration for Wikimania starts (and this will be sooner than later), when this confusion would no longer be a thing. Msz2001 (talk) 17:39, 12 June 2024 (UTC)

User:Nemo_bis has just created 2024:Related activities, which is modelled on 2019:Related activities. It needs to be set up for translation, etc, and also included in {{Wikimania 2024 header}}, in similar fashion to 2024:Attendees as part of the "Program" stack of pages/links.
